Media Uploader only creating full size images

    I’ve got my first job where the hosting isn’t GoDaddy or BlueHost but a private server and been having trouble with the permissions and other issues.

    But specifically when uploading images the media uploader is only creating full size images. I’ve found a couple of ideas on searches but they’re also several years old so I was hoping to get a fresh answer on what I need to tell the server to change.

  • Does the server have the PHP GD library installed?

    apt-get install php5-gd on Ubuntu/Debian servers.
