    The uploaded file could not be moved to wp-content/uploads/2015/04.

    Hi i have just moved my site from local to live server.

    After that i have done all changes in database for wp_posts table

    my exiting media are works properly but

    i unable to upload new media

    it shows error…

    The uploaded file could not be moved to wp-content/uploads/2015/04.

    how to troubleshoot this problem..

    please help me….

  • you have permission issue.

    follow this page to make sure your permissions are as they should be for wordpress to work normally.

    Hi :),

    Check if the permissions are correct for the wp-content folder. Also try changing the permissions of wp-content/uploads folder to 777 and check.

    If the issue still persists, change the theme to Default WP theme like TwentyFifteen, and then try to upload an image.

    Remember to download backup of your website files and database before doing any changes.

    I have successfully overcome from my problem

    according to your reply

    i have changed file permission from cpanel of my domain

    then now i can upload and save any media to my wordpress
