media-upload.php not apparently doing anything!

  • I just recently moved a blog to a different domain, and mostly everything works although I’m finding little things here and there that need fixing. Also just upgraded to 2.8.6. The other thing about my configuration is that my url and wpurl are different paths.

    It seems on the backend, that all the buttons invoking media-upload.php are doing absolutely nothing. I read the sticky thread on why that could be the case, but none of the fixes have seemed to work.

    Where does this script live? And how could it do nothing all of a sudden?

    Observed in both Safari & Firefox

    in case it is a clue, I get an error on page on the backend when I’m on an Edit Post page:

    Error: '$j.datepicker.regional' is null or not an object
