• When I click to view media (from the ‘media’ link in the admin menu) the page won’t load. The wheel just spins. But when I deactivated this plugin, the page started loading again. I hope that this plugin will be updated, because it would be so useful!

  • Ditto. It happened a few months ago, and it made the library dashboard interface unusable. I just noticed that the plugin had been updated three weeks ago, so a unistalled/downloaded/installed new version and it does just keeps loading.

Such a great plugin when it worked. So many images are used that aren’t “attached” it’s hard to find and clean w/out it.

    Update:
I just let it load. And load. And load. Almost 10 min. But it finally populated and is working.

I recently noticed very slow loading of the images when using the “Add Media” button on the editing page. I deactivated this plugin (Find Posts Using Attachment) and loading speeds were back to normal. Strange thing is, I then REactivated the plugin and the loading speeds remained at a good speed! Well, at least that seems to be the case so far…

Could it be possible that the plugin somehow gets bogged down after a while and when you deactivate and then reactivate it, something or other gets flushed and things start working again?

I’m going to leave this plugin on for a while and see how it goes.

Update: things have started to slow down again. But the results are mixed, to be honest.

On my local test site, things have slowed down a lot with this plugin activated (with all other plugins deactivated). On the live site, loading speed in the media library is sometimes ok, but at other times, it takes a while. When I deactivate this plugin, loading times do seem to be consistently faster, though.
