Media wont load & cannot update & caching error

  • I am having a unexpected difficulty trying to upload new media, just says error and try again, and it wont even load the media I already have in the media folder either. I am unable to make updates to the website either, it just says it wont do it, gives an option to download a backup, and says try again. This website is using Divi as it’s page editor. I also was looking into the plugins and it wont load any new plugins when I search, I had recently tried to use a caching plugin and thought that it didn’t seem to improve things, so I erased it, that which also gave an error that a php file should be erased or I should re-install the caching plugin; then of course it wont load the results for caching plugins anymore for me to re-install, I’m also not sure where to locate this php file in order to erase it. Any help with these issues would be much appreciated.

    What is the name of the caching plugin you tried and deleted?

    It sounds like the caching plugin may have left behind a PHP file causing issues. Try manually removing the plugin files via FTP or your hosting file manager. Check your PHP version and server settings to ensure compatibility with Divi. Also, clearing any remaining cache and increasing server resources (like memory limit) might resolve the upload and update issues.
