• I have WP 3.1, PHP 5.3.5 and MySql 5.0.7 installed on Apache web server in a windows platform.

I have to decide on a wiki and even though mediawiki is an overkill as per others (I have not used mediawiki and don’t have it installed at the moment) I am inclined to go with mediawiki rather than try the other plugins because almost all others seem to have enough issues that will mess up my existing site.

Has anyone integrated mediawiki into an existing wp site successfully and if so is there some documentation on how to go about doing this.

    Thanks

  • I agree with you.

I came across a mediawiki-wordpress integration how-to months ago, which seemed to be definitive, but now I can’t find it. This is embarrassing because I also posted several discussions about the best wiki for wordpress. I concluded mediawiki but just told people to google “mediawiki wordpress integration.” Well it’s not that simple. Some of the Google results are old, others are for specific purposes, others are my own forum discussions…!

Anyway the www.ads-software.com Codex “is” a mediawiki so there “should” be something around here that tells how it is done! Anyone who knows please reply here.

You might try the stuff at this site:

or this one where they took it a step further:
