• The plugin is OK and the support is fast, but the feature for submitting questions doesn’t makes any sense:

    • People submit questions e.g. after their searches for FAQs didn’t lead to any results. However, the submit form is not automatically displayed or linked if there are no search results.
    • Nobody submits a question with a suggestion for the right answer.
    • The system doesn’t offer a possibility to both answer the question (hidden or public) in the system plus by email.

In summary, the license costs are not worth it, since a lot of customization work is still required.

    Hi delucks,

I apologize that the plugin didn’t fit the requirements of your site/project.

The reality of this specific situation is that the items mentioned fall into the category of feature requests, not functionality that doesn’t work or that was thought to be in the plugin and wasn’t.

And this review is the result of us not being able to immediately implement these new features for the user. While I understand this, it is unfortunate.

Please note that all of the items mentioned by the user in their review are part of the premium version of the plugin. So none of what they mentioned has anything to do with or any effect on the free version of the plugin, which is what is available here on www.ads-software.com. I’m only discussing these premium points as a response to the points the user brought up and to address their rating/review.

The user would like the ability for the submit FAQ form to display automatically if the search form returns no results. This is a cool feature idea and one we would love to implement in the future.

Please correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe that, with your second point, you are saying that we should not include the option in the submit FAQ form for the user to suggest an answer. First of all, this is optional and can easily be disabled. Second, it was implemented at the request of users, so there was demand for this, which is why we added it.

Could you please let me know what you mean by your third point? I’m not sure I understand how the submit FAQ functionality could/would work over email.

    Thanks!
