    Hi,

there′s a coding issue for the mega menus. When site layout is set to “boxed” (Customizer general options boxed layout) the mega menus start left with the same padding as the site content and other elements.

So they are off 30px from the left side of the site and overflow therefore right 30px from the boxed layout. All the mega menus are therefore moved by 30px right because they are not aligned left with the site.

I cleared all my CSS and also other plugins. This seem to be a theme problem.

    Any idea?

I could transform them with CSS but a better solution would be when it works in house I think.

    Regards

    Hi,

support answered me via e-mail. They said they fixed it in version 3.5.1. I will wait till it′s public and then test again.

Thx for now. I will get back if the problem stays.

    Hello @artankrasniqi1988,

    Thank you for your report,
    I understand your point now.
Yes, this issue has already been forwarded to the development team and is planned for the next update. Also, you can follow OceanWP’s changelog for further following.

    Hi,

sorry if I have to ask now honestly. Is really something happening here to fix this bug? I surely kind of lost trust that something is going to be fixed even if the oceanwp team itself can reproduce the issue…

This kind of makes me want to move away from oceanwp. Please don′t understand me wrong. But addressing an obvious and reproducible bug shouldn′t take over 1 month to get fixed.

I′m not even quite sure if something is really happening behind the scenes here or these issues just don′t have any value to the developer team as they work on other projects.

I surely got this feeling now multiple times as a develeper myself, even if presenting the bugs on a silver tray for the developers.

Still thanks for your reply, but it feels for me like better searching for own solution and writing own scripts / CSS then waiting so long for fixes and releases.

    Thx and regards

    Hello @artankrasniqi1988,

Sorry, I have to also ask honestly, what is your opinion on the dev version of OceanWP you received on September 13th and in relation to this issue (because you reached out to us using the premium account of your client via tickets)?

    Hi Marko,

it seems we both updated to mail-friends! ?? Yes the question was when will it be pushed live. As I already wrote in premium account, I will wait till live push to see if it will be implemented there. As it have been a long time, I just wanted to know if theres any news.

    Thanks and regards!

Hi, I also decided to do my own workaround here with JavaScript and CSS.

    This is resolved for me.

    Thanks and regards.
