Melos theme and Polylang

  • Hi all,

    I’m building my personal web site to get it multilanguage (ENG/ITA); so I’ve installed Polylang plugin.

    Everything is working fine, however, I was wondering if there’s a way to have the Pre-Designed Homepage (Featured) in more languages and to translate some fixed strings on the homepage (like: “Follow me on:”, “Read More” and so on).

    I’m trying not to manipulate the original theme (I have Melos PRO version) and I’ve played with pll_register_string / pll_e functions, but I didn’t succeed.

    Can you help me in this? Thank you.

  • Hello myrex,

    There is no option to make pre-designed home page in to more language. You can convert the home page in as many as language. You need to make your own home page and all the page content need to come via page buider.

    In such a way you can achieve the things you are looking for.
