I have a page with this code in it: [bbp-single-forum id=348]

That forum is marked private, and I have selected group 2 under Forum Groups to restrict access to this forum.
Under bbp Privage Groups, settings, Forum Visibily is unchecked.

When a logged in user from a different group opens that page, they see all the topics in that forum.

I don’t mind other group members seeing the forums that they do not have access to, but I would prefer that the topics were NOT visible. Is this possible?

    Thank you.

    yes I can replicate this!

I’ll need to look at the code to see if I can easily filter on this shortcode.

no easy filter – so I’ll need to cut a PG version of this shortcode

ok, I’ve released version 3.0.8 which includes a new shortcode

    [pg-single-forum id=2923 ]
[pg-single-forum id=2923 message =”You do not have permission to view this”]

Displays a single forum with an ID of 2923, with optional message for non-logged in users or users without permission for this forum

Let me know that this fixes it for you

Ahhh, ‘shortcode’ ! I was wondering what the ‘shirtcide’ was in your changelog for 3.0.8 :-p
    Thanks for the update !

Thank you for the fast response! It seems to work fine.
Also using method 1 to show the forums (page slug is “forums”) also prevents users from viewing forums that they do not have access to.

    Thanks!
