Anyone else have this problem? Member cancelled his $1/moth membership (after using the classifieds for a couple months to sell his car and ALSO winning a pair of tickets to a concert — grrrr…) Just-mailed me to complain that he’s still being charged a full month after he cancelled.

Thing is, his user account doesn’t even exist in the system anymore. I deleted it, and all traces of him. So it seems that the command to draft his credit card must stillbe in the database somewhere.

And that’s a nightmare scenario —?that’s “in trouble with the FTC and the state attorney general” kind of nightmare. All for one stupid dollar a month. I was able to “Block Credit Card” in the Stripe payment gateway, but I’m guessing that PMP is going to keep trying to charge his card for all eternity, which seems less that desirable.

Any thoughts or suggestions appreciated, thanks!

    Hey @mongrel

Are you still experiencing this issue? This should be posted to Paid Memberships Pro support channel directly either on www.ads-software.com or https://www.paidmembershipspro.com

Just to clear things up for other people that may stumble across this thread:

    * Paid Memberships Pro does not store credit card details in the database for PCI reasons. They do store the last 4 digits only for reference.

    * Stripe handles all the recurring payments and it seems there is a communication issue between your site and Stripe.

    * Your Stripe webhook may not be setup correctly, I’ve seen issues in the past where Stripe subscriptions weren’t cancelling for user’s because their webhook wasn’t setup at all, please follow this guide to ensure your webhook is setup correctly – https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/gateway/stripe/#tab-gateway-setup

If you are still facing issues with this, please feel free to reach out on https://www.paidmembershipspro.com. These forums are for BuddyPress/Paid Memberships Pro related issues.

    I hope this helps.
