Member Directory Plugin?

  • I would like to add a membership directory to my blog, sort of a business to business directory that would be searchable by keyword, category or business name, so members could network and find resources they need.

    Does anyone know if there is plugin for WP that does this?

    If you’re interested in developing plugins, I would be more than happy to collaborate with a programmer.

    Sounds like we’re all seeking the same capability! I was going to try to utilize a Page to create a directory of my members, and upload a document into the WordPress Page, but I wasn’t sure what type of doc’s can be placed into a WordPress Page or if that’s a practical idea or not. May not accomplish what we want anyhow.

    Does anyone have any answers to this?

    I am in sore need of essentially the same thing as the thread-creator was – a directory of members, searchable via keyword/category/area of interest/surname, etc.

    Does anyone know of anything that might do this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Have you considered using either categories or tags for this?

    ….no! Could you elaborate a bit more? How, exactly, would one go about implementing this via categories?

    I am getting to the point where I will pay someone to do this – I’m having no joy whatsoever.
