Member Profile Page

Hi all,

I need to give my site users the ability to:

A: Become a Member (user registers and details are saved to a database)
B: Have a profile page where they can add basic information.

I’ve seen a few ‘Member’ plugins but just wanted to check if anyone has any recommendations. I’ve used plugins in the past that ended up not working that well so a premium (paid) plugin would be the preferred option.
