• I’m using the latest verison of WordPress and the plugin. I’m testing it on my site before going live. Our member photos are not working properly. They appear to upload and I can crop the image and save the profile. However, after that, the images never appear on the members directory. If I click on a users’ photo, I do have the option for “Change Photo” and “Remove Photo”, so it thinks there are photos there, they’re just not showing.

I followed this and disabled my theme and all plugins except the member plugin, with no update/changes, it was still broken.

Any other thoughts or log files I could look at? It’s a private site right now, so I cannot publish a link to it publicly.

  • Encountered the same problem. Please advice.
    Thanks in advance,
    kate

I was also having an issue where the images would appear to upload and be cropped, but wouldn’t display within the site itself. For me, the issue was that I’d changed the Avatar settings in the default WordPress Settings -> Discussion area with “Show Avatars” unchecked. Once “Show Avatars” was checked, the profile photos were displayed on the site.

    Thanks @kmeronuk for your input.
I tried your tweak but unfortunately it didn’t help with my issue.

    Hi @hiltonmw and @katering,

Can you please tell us what version of the Ultimate member you have installed on your site? Have you changed any settings in Ultimate member -> Settings -> General -> Uploads?
If you have empty fields in Ultimate member -> Settings -> General -> Uploads please add file/image size and see if it helps.

    Regards.

Thank you very much for your answer.

I am using Ultimate Member 2.0.20. The settings for uploads are unchanged as far as I can remember. There are no empty fields … I just checked it.

Unfortunately I cannot add a screenshot here. ??

    Yippiee it works now! ??

Maybe it does so since the latest update a few days ago. Maybe it was a caching issue, no matter what it was it just makes my day. I just stumbled upon it by checking some other things on my live site. https://adjumed.com/members/

This issue is fixed for me but I am not the originator of the thread and I do hope that it is fixed for the other guys too.

Thanks a lot for your help.
