Members are not being upgraded after purchase

You may show them wrong buttons? Also check for plugin and theme conflicts.

For upgrading a membership, the member has to be logged in FIRST before making the purchase otherwise, it does not know what account to associate it with.

Use a conditional to make the button appear only for when the member is logged in, or a note asking them to log in.
It might solve the issue.
