Members can't change passwords

I have a site with about 1,200 members. Recently, they have no longer been able to change their passwords.
When they click on edit profile, they get the message “You do not have permission to edit this page”

Any thoughts on the problem?

We are using Event Espresso and WishList Member, if either of these have been known to cause this problem.
