Members keep getting logged out

  • Hi,
    Forum members are complaining that they have to keep logging back in to reply to messages even after several minutes.
    Can you tell me if there is a way to keep members logged in once they log in on any device?
    I cannot find where there is an option of a timeout or something.

    It doesn’t have direct relation to wpForo. Login process is WordPress process and keeping logged-in is being performed by WordPress session and browser cookies created by WordPress. This may be device specific issue or browser specific issue. Some browsers block cookies or something else. I don’t think this is a general.
    In any case leave your forum URL We’ll try to login and see if the problem persists.

    I know you logged in to try and resolve the PM issue of text wrap and you created an account to have a look,
    The edit you told me to add to the css i added and have since removed because the site became very laggy but for some reason, the whole site is still very laggy with pages taking 5-10 seconds to load with all members having the same issue.

    Could you try and see what is causing it as i haven’t made any other changes and the host are saying their end is fine.

    I see AJAX queries on your website by Shout Box, it takes dozens of seconds and make your website very slow. Also the calendar widget have a slow AJAX request. wpForo doesn’t have any relation to this issue:

    Also the avatar of this user is too big.

    It seem wpForo was not able to resize it because of memory limit and it left as is.

    Thank you Tomdever!
    I have replaced the Large avatar with much smaller one.
    As process of Elimination, i will see whether the Avatar replacement makes any difference as that user was online when issues occur.
    If it’s still the same, should i just remove Shoutbox then the also the Calendar if necessary?
    It seems to be running ok now.
