• Hi WP world :O)

I’m pretty new to this WP lark but have managed to create a new company website, but I think I need some expert help with a plugin(?) that will help me control access to certain pages.

What I want to achieve is:
The majority of the site is available for anyone to look at, BUT
One protected page is for crew members only (containing info only relevant to them)
One protected page is Project Managers only (containing info only relevant to them)
One protected page is for clients only (containing info only relevant to them)

I would anticipate that a person wanting access to one of the protected areas signs up saying who they are and what access they require: Crew Member / Project Manager / Client.
His application for membership is sent to me (Admin) for approval BEFORE he’s allowed access.
Access granted or denied by Admin.
They can then login as and when they want at a later date.
Admin has the ability to cancel any “membership” if/when required.
As a bonus if it could also record when people log in and where they go, it’d be brilliant, but not essential.

I don’t know if something that does just this already exists and I’m just using the wrong search terms or phrases, but I’ve been looking and looking under members / membership / access control but nothing comes up that gives me quite what I’m after.

I have also looked at the standard page protection and just setting one password, but communicating that info to lots of people and changing it if one person needs to be revoked seems a total nightmare and probably not the use for which it’s designed.

Any help pointing me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

    Many thanks!
    Sarella
