Either I’m to thick headed or none of these work for me

Pretty much I want to have pages that are visible to subscribers only, but still want the page name tabs visible on the main page. Just when a non subscriber tries to click on them they either don’t open or have a message like “you are not a registered user”

If you are on a server that uses Apache, you can use .htaccess to password-protect sub-directories.
