Members plugin not restricting access to Woo products

I am using Members plugin to manage access to certain products within WooCommerce. I have created a role called ‘Retail Member’ and within the product interface > content permissions, I have selected the role ‘Retail Member’ to have access to this product, however it’s visible to everyone. When I apply the same permission to a page, it works correctly. So the problem seems to lie with it not working for Woo products.
