We haven’t had any similar reports, so this may be a little tricky to narrow down, especially if it isn’t consistent.
I’d rather advise to first create a staging environment, meaning a complete and exact copy of this website into another location/folder in the same server, using a separate database, in where you can safely perform tests.
Then proceed with a full conflict test as shown here:

Also enabling WordPress debugger can reveal more info on this, even though you should replicate the actual issue at least once more, while having WP_DEBUG active:
