• Hello!

I two questions about a site I am building for my nonprofit that I am hoping someone on here might be able to help with. If I am not posting in the right forum, please let me know.

    1. I am building out a site for my nonprofit to offer our curriculum in schools digitally. There are two types of pages on this site: teacher guide pages and student pages. Our curriculum is 5 chapters, and must go in order. What we are trying to do is when a classroom teacher signs up for our program they get access to Chapter 1 of the teacher guide that has the links live AND Chapters 2-5 of the teacher guide that has dead links. Their students get access to Chapter 1 of the student section. Once the teacher is done with Chapter 1, they will fill out a form/survey in order to move on. Once the form is submitted, they would get access to Chapter 2 of the teacher guide with live links, and their students would get access to Chapter 2 of the student site. Is there a plugin that could do this for us? Or is this something I would have to do manually?

    2. I started building these pages on our current site, but then we added a subdomain to our site where we want all of these pages to ultimately live with the new membership plugin. The subdomain site does not have all of the same plugins as our original site yet. a.) Is there a way to move all of those to the subdomain, or would I need to install all of them on the subdomain manually? b) Is there a way to move the pages from our site I built them on so I don’t have to start from scratch?

Thank you in advance for any advice!

I think a learning management (LMS) plugin would be more appropriate than a simple membership plugin. They should allow you to setup a structured learning path as you’ve described.

The import/export tools should allow you to move the pages you want. The default tools don’t give you very fine control, but there could be a more sophisticated import/export tool you could use. If all else fails, import the extra data and then delete what you don’t need in the target site.
