membership directory

  • Hi – we’re building a site for an association. They want their members to be able to fill in a form that creates a custom profile, which is then searchable by the public. These same members also need to be able to add members (employees) under a main umbrella contact.
    We are currently using RoleScoper to restrict access to various pages (i.e. members’ area of the site).
    Paid plugins are certainly acceptable.

    An update… we’ve also got BBPress installed. We could try and extend the profile section there. Does anyone have any experience/advice? Are we going in the right direction, or the wrong one?
