I wanted to create a free trial without a credit card. To do so, I have created a membership level that expires in a day and is absolutely free for this period. The problem is that when a person registers with that level, the website says that this person has no membership level. Other levels work fine, but they require a credit card. I have also used this script, but i don’t think it is responsible: https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/offer-trial-memberships-that-can-only-be-used-once/

Can anybody suggest another way or a fix, please?

    Hi there,

Can you please confirm your level settings for the level in question, are the amounts set to $0 (free) and the expiration period is 1 day?

The member should receive the level immediately after signing up for this level. The code snippet you referenced should prevent user’s from completing checkout should they already have had that level in the past.

Please let me know what version of Paid Memberships Pro you are using, and to confirm these trial signups are happening through the Paid Memberships Pro checkout page?

Hi, the version of PMPro is 5.8.1, the membership price is indeed set to 0 with a 1-day expiration. I have also tried to disable expiration, but nothing changed. All the sign-ups are using the default PM checkout page.

I haven’t been able to replicate this issue. I will continue to investigate this further.

Please can you test this with only Paid Memberships Pro active and no custom code running?
