Membership Instantly Expires

  • I’m trying to create a simple 1-day pass, so I set the membership to expire after 1 day. When testing, once I login, it immediately says the account is expired. My time settings in WordPress are correct.

    This will be related to and issue the timezone of the server vs your local timezone. We use WordPress’s cronjob function to check the expiry. The cronjob can run anytime within a 24 hour period. So 1 Day is too sort a time for this in my opinion. You are not going to get a good result when you use 1 day (some users depending on their local timezone will see less than 24 hours for their membership. Usually, a minimum value of 2-3 days or more is a good starting point. Try a different plugin and see if they can offer better granularity in terms of the 1 day expiry time you need.
