Membership Level Not Hiding Pages

I’m building a karate site and I’m using this plugin to hide requirements for higher belt ranks. For instance, if a member is set to the “Yellow Belt” membership level, they can’t see “Black Belt” level. However, when I set a member to “Yellow Belt” but only have the “Black Belt” requirement turned on for the Black Belt page, the member with the “Yellow Belt” level can still see the Black Belt page.

I’m not using the custom pages or payments feature. Basically I’m just using this plugin so different levels can only see different pages. But for the members with lower levels, they can still see the higher level pages. The “page is blocked” error never shows up.

Please help or tell me what I could be doing wrong. Thank you.
