I will be able to access a list of all members and their e-mail addresses so that I can send additional notifications and e-mails away from the web page and keep tabs on the demographic?

I will need to know who the website is reaching. Where they are from, their professional specialisations, that kind of thing.

It won’t work to ask the members to sign up twice, once to a website and once to a mailing list. What I’m asking is if I will be able to see a list of members and their e-mail addresses once they have made an account on the website?

Just to clarify: will I, as admin, be able to see a list of members and their e-mail addresses?

You as the site administrator, can see all the details from your members, which include their email address, name, home address, telephone number etc. Of course this depends on the fields they have to fill out when they register to become members of your site.

If the default form does not have enough fields, perhaps the Form Builder addon can help you further.
