Membership or Directory plugins

    I’m looking for a Membership Directory tool for a WordPress site for a NFP (so they can’t afford a lot). I’ve tried Business Directory and also Connections (S2) but both don’t meet the client’s requirements of being able to import an existing database and allowing members to login and update their individual entries. It needs to show their name, business name, industry category, logo and/or photo and contact details.

    Any suggestions on what might be out there that I can use? Needs to show up as a Directory on the site without having to do a lot of manipulation. That is Connections was ideal as it would automatically generate the information on a single page and something like that would be ideal.

    Connections does have a CSV Import extension. You could export your data from you existing database and import it into Connections.

    There is a variety of templates available that are very configurable offering many different design options:

    User can maintain their own details with the Link extension.

    All of these are very affordably priced.

    Thank you. I guess knowing the right terminology helps. I didn’t know that I was seeking an ‘extension’. Thanks for that.
