• thank you for your time and assistance with this issue

Untill a few days ago all my pages were up (membership, registration, optin) but then I went to copy a url for one of them and notced that most of the pages were now just blank even when you went to live edit. There is only one optin and video that is working but those are part of the public non-membership pages so one of the guys in the other forums sent me to this one.

I tried unplugging all the plugins but they remained blank, so Im hoping you guys could help me out to figure out whats going on and solve the issue

The settings for login, register, and user profile pages are only to identify the location of those pages. You still need to add the proper shortcodes to the body of the page.

If login and/or registration is not showing on other kinds of content, make sure that you have settings enabled for that particular kind of content.

thank you Chad, I have no clue how of where to put in the shortcodes and the links that you sent to me dont really explain how to do it. Could you send me to a page that tells me all of that please

If you have identified pages in the plugin’s settings for login, register, and user profile pages, those pages still need to have the appropriate shortcode added to them.

Take a look at the pages you have identified. Look in the main body of the content. Is there a shortcode there like [wpmem_form login], [wpmem_form register], or [wpmem_profile]? If not, add the appropriate shortcode to the page and save the page.

If you haven’t created any of these pages and want to, then create a new page and add the appropriate shortcode to the page.

There is a brief discussion of this in the Quick Start Guide:
    https://rocketgeek.com/plugins/wp-members/quick-start-guide/4/

There is a menu of WP-Members shortcodes that is added to the page editor toolbar so you can select from there or there is a full list of shortcodes here:

I followed the links and the instructions but Couldnt find the place for the code.

correct me if Im wrong but you are talking as if I was just geting started on the pages, but I already had them up and running (with content and links to other pages)
and from one day to the next I coudlnt even go into the live edit section because it would just show up blank.

I can only access quick edit. on the pages.

my only concern is that if I make them again from scratch the same thing will happen, so if I can fix it now I can prevent it from happening in the future.

Shortcodes go into page content areas. Are the shortcodes that I asked about added anywhere in these pages? Sorry if you’ve answered this, but it doesn’t sound to me like these shortcodes are there.

can you also tell me how much it would be to pay someone to fix this? someone told me you can also do that

    See: https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Posts#Descriptions_of_Post_Fields

The “Body Copy Box” referred to in the codex article above. The large open area for the post content to go into. The Visual or HTML views of the Post/Page content editor.

Essentially, where you put your post/page content when you create a page, which is the open area in the middle of this screenshot: https://codex.www.ads-software.com/File:write1.png

can you also tell me how much it would be to pay someone to fix this? someone told me you can also do that

Premium support is available on a subscription basis. There are a lot of good reasons to sign up for support. I won’t detail that here to avoid sounding “salesy” – anyone who is interested can look on the link above and make a determination if it is right for them.

But I also want to manage expectations here. Let me point out that “support” is not the same as “doing it for you.” If you need me to do custom work for you, contact me so we can scope the project and I can give you a quote based on the project’s scope.

But I think that goes far beyond what you need. It really sounds like you just need to add the appropriate shortcodes to the pages you’ve indicated. The main content area of a post or page in the Post Editor is a basic component of WordPress. That’s where you would add the appropriate shortcode for this, the same as you would add any content to a post or a page.
