Membership Plugin Recommendation for our Small Association

I run a small association to spread marketing education and connections in our state. We have members and non-members attend events.

For members, I think a membership plugin would be helpful. I’d like something that:
(a) Manages subscriptions, like annual payments and renewals
(b) Automatically updates a membership directory

These things can both be time-consuming now. Subscriptions are taken via PayPal now, and the directory is manually updated.
