membership Pricing set to none makes everything free?

I would like to use the global percentages for discount in store. In a product page under membership tab, shows a “dropdown” menu with all memberships and the option of “none”. Below that lists every membership and ability to create custom price per membership. if i dont change these numbers for each membership the product ends up free. I dont want to have to create a price for each membership , just the global discount(found in the create membership pages). Is this possible? Even if set to “none” product still comes up free unless each membership list is filled out. This is a very tedious when making products of having to go back through inventory. Is this working correctly?
