I did made my site like → https://www.templatesnext.org/icreate/wp-content/uploads/front-page.txt
But I understood my mistake.
I made the site as test site. so one of post is very short contents, other one is made by only images and so on. So ‘read more’ is not displayed.

So I have suggestion, I wish that when someone put on thumbnail image, move to post’s content, not display modal window.
And if possible, about be able to choice excerpt or full contents (using more tag) about recent posts.(Default theme can choice).
Because Japanese character is 2 byte. I think it needs adjustment of column or carousel’s height. )

I was able to create almost same homepage with i-craft demo site.
1)as homepage i used page not post.
2)i arranged page by tool kit short code.
3)in editor, i hide title and breadcrumb.
4)in quick editor, i hide the comment column.
Is it right? any other way? if there is the best way, please advice me.

Sorry! I find [tx] button in visual editor, as I usually use text editor.
So one question.

If I create homepage(top page) by the ToolKit,
Which is better homepage creating from using “new page not post” customized or content.php revised by input short codes ?
If I create from the “page”, i have to close comments column and change home page form blog-posts to the “page”.

It is difficult to explain in English.

full content +more tag is as same as excerpt.
In addition i dont use excerpt Column in “add or edit post in dashboard.”
If i use this Column, I controled end of each post listing on Homepage.
but no use.

So i change “full content + more tag” to excerpt,
1)just changing full content + more tag to excerpt, i have to control by text number. but i want to control end of paragraph.
2)So if i will satisfied, i have to change excerpt column all of posts from dashboard. it is very troublesome.

In Japanese Blogs, many people use “full content + more tag” instead of excerpt.
If it is ok from the start of blog using excerpt, but not so, using excerpt is restlicted by text numbers. So many people continue using “full content + more tag”.

i tested in many times on default supernova 1.5.2
So when use “show full content” in post setting tab , featured images are not displayed in listing posts on Homepage.
now i use “excerpt” but indeed i want to use full content.

just information.
when i use “excerpt” in supernova option > Advanced > post setting, post listing in Homepage is displayed.
but choice “full content”, disappeared.(until now i use full content+ more tag)

*i tested not in activate all of plugin.
*other theme display featured images in post listing in homepage.

In response temporary, now i added “<?php echo get_the_post_thumbnail($page->ID, ‘thumbnail’); ?>” as below in loop.php.

I used child-theme and changed “loop-single.php”.
So, i used 1.5.2 parent Supernova’s loop-single.php, and again customized it.
And about each single post, featured images work good.
but listing posts on Homepage is yet bad.
Of course now i turn on all of featured images tab.

*all of files using by child-theme changed to 1.5.2.
