membership stops working when canceled

This is by design, and has been discussed here quite a bit.

so best to make it a plugin. this should be fun. lol

Been looking for the answer, love to find out why this is “by design.” why shouldn’t someone get the content they paid for if they’re just deciding to cancel their membership so there isn’t future billing?

this will let their member ship expire on it’s original date and no instantly with out it.

Were you able to do this successfully? I had found several threads last night and couldn’t decipher whether it needed to be a plug in or go into the functions.php file.

i have not installed it yet plus i only have two subscribers. i never alter functions because if you upgrade you lose your changes. right now im trying to figure out how pmp is cause 90% load
