Membership Upgrades Not Going Through

    Hi.

    Right now, we have three membership types: side hustler (free), business builder (paid), and enterprise (paid more). But when vendor tries to upgrade their membership from the side hustler to one of the paid tiers, payment goes through but the new membership is not granted to the vendor. I’ve had to go in and manually upgrade their membership accounts so that their group assignment and capabilities upgrade.

    Have I missed something? Or is there a way to make this automatic?

    Hi,

    Please check at membership manage page -> do you have enabled “Approval” option or not ?

    If it’s ON, then vendor will get new subscription plan only after admin’s approval.

    No, nothing is checked to require approval.

    How you have setup Membership payment option? –

    Integrated payment or WC Product subscription ?

    They are all set to “Recurring, WC Checkout”

    Okay, so further testing, and this is what’s happening:

    When trying to buy a membership, free or paid, the payment for that membership is getting stuck in “processing” instead of completing the order. So the new vendor can’t set up their store until I manually change the payment over to Completed.

    When trying to change a current membership to a different tier, the site just gets stuck as soon as you click on the button. It doesn’t respond at all.

    Well, WooCommerce do not mark order “completed” by default, it always hold those at “processing”.

    Ah-ha! Okay ?? Thank you so much, that worked. I’m sorry, I thought if it wasn’t set for approval that it would just go automatically.

    I’m still having problems with changing plans. When you click on the button to change a plan, the site gets stuck.

    This is resolved.

    Issue was due to custom code.
