  • No, there isn’t.

Ahh, any suggestions for what kind? because now im running wordpress, joomla has few bit and bobs that need adjusting and wont work for me, suggest please?

You could consider taking a look at Easy Paypal as a possible plugin. Quite actively developed I believe.

Of course, if you find it useful, please thank the developer (swhitley) as well. This is his site (linking to the original plugin page but the first link is where the latest development is on-going)

Hi there, I discovered this plugin recently.
    called Your Members.
    https://www.newmedias.co.uk/
please note, it is not free, there is a single user license fee
    of $50.00
    looks interesting though.
    hope it helps.
also wp-ecommerce has a membership module you can add.
    hope this helps.
    mike.

I found wp-member. Does everything I need, content access manager and membership subscriptions. It only cost $31!

Thanks for the hat tip mukey1
Iamthechosenone people won’t buy products if they think you are telling porkies ;)and you must be the most enthusiastic user of wp-members be honest people will respect you more.

wp-member and Your Members are not really in the same league when it comes to current features which is why the price difference, in terms of cars both have engines but Your Members has the wheels as well ??

ok so bad analogy and we are biased because we wrote it but to sum up we think it’s probably the best wordpress plugin today

Also its worth mentioning to be fair fastmembership is wordpress based and that the wp-commerce has a members option which if Your Members is to dear then that might be a better alternative.

@tnash on the website it says it integrates with aweber. does your members also integrate with 1shoppingcart? i need to track affiliate sales so ideally it needs to integrate with 1shoppingcart

also does it automatically generate user names and passwords for new members or are they manually added?

does it lock people out when their subscription expires e.g. if they their credit card expires?

tnash if you prefer to contact me directly you can use the contact form at my website.

to clarify. i need for the purchaser to click to purchase using a 1shoppingcart link so it tracks affiliate sales before it goes to paypal or a membership site to accept the payment and add them as a member. then it needs to return to 1shoppingcart so it can send an autoresponder advising the member payment has been received and tell them where to go to access the members section etc etc.

    hope this makes sense

Looking at the comments from people attempting to integrate 1shoppingcart with other products I suspect the answer is not without difficulty, I will take a closer look at it this evening and see if its something that is a) feasible to do and b) if other users would be interested in integration with it.

I tend to only visit www.ads-software.com once every couple of days so you might be better of contacting or asking for features on our forums they are free and open so even if you haven’t made or even thinking about a purchase you can come and ask questions.

    thanks

1shoppingcart integrate fine with paypal for one off purchases but not recurring purchases which is creating hassles for me

1shoppingcart is very popular but i don’t know how many of the people who use it also use wordpress protected members areas

tnash i think u have stolen Paybox code i say nothing more for now only that i currenctly develop https://wp-member.com and people should check it first.

Im the original coder of Paybox in the early stages and i know.

    Regards.

We’ve just released a new membership plug-in for WordPress, WP-Membership, it can be found at https://www.wp-membership.com. It is a commercial product, but it offers lifetime free upgrades. It supports any number of membership levels. It comes with PayPal, and has additional addons (purchased separately, and not yet released as of the time of this posting) for other payment gateways. We also are taking active suggestions for features for our plug-in

It seems that almost every other membership system except wp-Member restricts your site in some way. Membership levels or functions. wp-Member comes with unlimited membership levels, unlimited subscriptions that you can set at any length you want as well as multiple other functions and switches you can easily use to customize your wordpress site.

We currently have a xmas sale giving you 15% off the stated price as well as donating 25% to DogSOS, a charity that saves dogs from pounds who face being put down if they are not claimed after 7 days.

If you have any questions, please click on the customer support link in the sidebar of our website.

Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year from Everyone at wp-Member.com

I am glad that I found this thread. Lots of interesting plug ins to check out.
