• Long time user, first time poster…normally we have this under wraps and manage everything ourselves for many years..but I am baffled at this one.

    – all plugins are disabled.
    – stock template being used.
    – everything up to date.
    – dedicated server dual quad core with 12gb ram.

96mb of ram dedicated to this install on the server php.ini and not written into the particular site

we keep running out of ram and having to reboot every 6-8 hours now.

With all plugs disabled, this is what I am getting in my error logs

[16-Nov-2015 16:30:23 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 100663296 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 524288 bytes) in /home/myDBname/public_html/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 1718

tried to use w3 total cache to cache more data.
    no use.

we have other heavily trafficked WordPress sites on this same box running the exact same setup (template & plugins) that aren’t spitting errors.

Is there anyway to determine what exactly is hitting the DB soo hard in WP and consuming all of the resource?

    some sort of monitoring software?
Query monitor plugin isnt telling me anything useful

    thanks in advance.

For any clue, have you checked the error logs on your server for any specific error message and see why it’s failing?

I posted the error in the original post, that is all that is listed. that is related ot this account.

server logs do report some Zendguard errors, but not related to this install.

raised the memory levels, verified that wordpress is seeing increased memory. optimized database, restarted apache, mysql and the entrie box… and still the leak continues.

WordPress immediately runs out or memory even if the limit is set to 256 or 512…(currently at 128)
