Memory Leaks Screening

I know there is a thread about some more structure around plugins, etc.

One request would be to have a ranking or rating system for plugins that includes plugins being screened for appropriate use of variables, etc…

I have a number of plugins installed, and I am now finding that I think I have a memory leak in one of them (or between more than one). I need to have the team get in and see what is happening, but it sure would be nice to measure the quality of these plugins’ code in some way, other than users simply rating it. The wp community and user base seems to have grown to the point, that some of that backbone to the community could be justified.
