Memory peak after clearing the cache

I have noticed, after I clear cache, memory usage goes up to limit, and my web site is nearly unusable for 5-10 minutes. I suppose, until the cache is rebuild.
I can live with that, I will try not to use it. But, I have a setup, that system clears cache every day. Will that memory leak occur even than?

By the way, really great plugin. Only solution that works for buddypress, at least for me.
