Memory usage is surpassing WP Limit, how is it possible?

    Hello.

    I have installed the plugin and it shows this numbers:

    Memory: 98.06 de 256 MB (38%) | WP LIMIT: 40 MB

    How is it possible that the memory usage surpass the WP memory limit that is set up to 40 MB?

    I know that I can edit the wp-config file and rise the WP limit memory, but I would like to understand how is it possible that the website uses more memory that the available per the WP limit…

    Hi there,

    The Memory usage is the memory usage given by PHP. The WordPress Limit is ignored by many hosting environments, prevealing the PHP limits. Here this seems to be the case. PHP ignores the WP LIMIT and applies its own limit.
    This is normal.
