• Hi ??

I’m new with this plugin and experienced a problem after install:

Websites using this plugin, now use (each) more then 5 GB RAM for php.

    Any idea, what it does?

    Thanks,
    Alex

  • Can you try installing earlier versions of the plugin to see if memory problems change? Try it without the plugin active too.
Did you change the settings of your webserver?
Is your webserver using keep-alives now, when it didn’t before?

I now found out, that the cache creation function is causing this huge memory usage. after killing the process, during normal operation, the memory uage is quiet “normal”.

    should it be like this?

    Thx,
    Alex

Do you mean the preload process? It does need to keep a list of posts in memory but it should only be a list of numbers, and it calls the web server to create the pages so that’s handled by a different process.
I haven’t seen what you describe happen, but running a preload isn’t necessary anyway.
