memory_limit = ?

  • Hello
    I already had about 300,000 product
    And the amount of memory was equal to 456M
    memory_limit = 456M
    I did not have any problems
    But the number of products rose to 350,000, a memory problem
    I spoke with hosting
    Increased the amount of memory to 512M
    memory_limit = 512M
    Now the issue is resolved

    my question :
    1: When to memory problems I encounter?
    2: If the number of products will increase to 1,000,000 , how much memory do I need?
    3: If I remove products without visitors, fix the problem?

  • I’ve never seen any guidance about the amount of memory required for a given number of products.

    The memory required will depend on which plugins you have active, which theme you have and the type of products, so it can’t be a straightforward calculation.

    I think you’ll just have to try it and see.
