    Hi,

I’m having a problem with running this plugin on WP Engine – it used to work fine, but it stopped working at some point. I have it set up on staging and have every other plugin disabled and I’m running the Twenty Sixteen theme. The problem is when I try to upload a file. Clicking the “Add New Document” button doesn’t do anything anymore. I get this jQuery error: “TypeError: jQuery(…).tooltip is not a function
    /wp-content/plugins/memphis-documents-library/memphis-documents.min.js?ver=4.7.2:1”

I have a full duplicate of the site on my SiteGround server and I don’t see any issue. Any idea why I’m seeing the issue on WP Engine? Thanks for your help!

Its a issue with loading javascript more the loading of jQuery. mdocs is loading before jQuery which is casing you issue. I will have to release a patch in the next couple of days that will address the issue.

    Stay tuned ??

Thanks so much for your quick reply and support. I just updated, but I’m still seeing the same issue:

TypeError: jQuery(…).tooltip is not a function
    /wp-content/plugins/memphis-documents-library/memphis-documents.min.js?ver=4.7.3:

Anything else I need to do? Let me know if you want a temp login to see the issue.

    Thanks!

can you make sure you clear your browser cache and try again. This .tooltip() function has been removed from 3.6.19 so there should be no reference to it anymore.

if that doesn’t work can you try and replace the file memphis-documents.min.js with this file:

    memphis-documents.min.js
