Memsource and WooCommerce Multilingual

This is a staging site for our live site. We are working with a translation company that uses MemSource to push translations from their programs to our website. However, up until we disabled the WooCommerce Multilingual plugin, they kept receiving an error on their end and only about 4 pages out of 30 were syncing. I’m wondering if the team has encountered a MemSource issue before, or what could be causing this issue. We already contacted MemSource for their input but they’ve been struggling to find out what’s wrong.
We are running on the theme Salient and have WPML also to have access to translated pages. Our translation team, unfortunately, also has not run into this issue before.
We can’t turn off your plugin because we need it to translate our products, so I’m hoping there’s something that can be adjusted to make it all run smoothly.

I am not aware of any issues that may cause such problems.
If you can provide more information – it would be beneficial to track the problem.
What error message are you receiving exactly? What steps are you performing to get it?
Have you enabled debugging in WordPress and if there are any errors logged in the debug log?
Perhaps it would be best if you can open a new ticket at our support forum at wpml.org where our support specialists can try and debug the problem and see from where it comesSo what happens is, in Memsource on the translation team’s end, they receive and error is vague —
There was a problem uploading WARRANTY REGISTRATION FORMen_gb to the online repository SportsArt.
Warranty registration form being a page, en_gb being the languae. These can change depending on what was uploaded.

It seems at first that you have Akismet issues and then issues with WPML, not WooCommerce Multilingual.
We would require taking a look at your code and how to reproduce that problem.
I am not sure why your code is trying to re-define a WPML function, but it could be either problem in your other code or problem with the cache – I see you are running varnish.
Perhaps disabling the cache could help?

I’ll do that right now. Thank you very much. It’s weird that it’s saying Akismet. We disabled every plugin and the error on MemSource’s side only happened when WooCommerce Multilingual was active. But I’ll move over there!
The Akismet error could be because of other non related issues.
