    Hello,

Are @mentions supported? It’d be a huge time saver to do it in the admin instead of editing each post external social media.

If it isn’t support, I’d imagine some kind of database that your plugin can reference that would be edited by the user.

Example of how @mention can be implemented:
    Plugin Database Name = AcmeWorks
    Links to:
    Facebook Name = Acme Works
    Facebook URL = https://www.facebook.com/Acme-Works-513747402020993/
    Twitter URL = https://twitter.com/acmeworks

When entering @AcmeWorks in the plugin backend, it autocompletes the correct account names for Facebook and Twitter, linking them to the correct url as well.

Hopefully you can formatted them correctly in Facebook and Twitter.

    Just some brainstorming.

    Is it possible?

    1. Facebook prohibits mentions. They used to support them, but disabled due to abuse.

    2. Twitter is fully supported. %AUTHORTWNAME% will get the Twitter handle from users profile (Yoast and many other plugins put it there). So if you put @%AUTHORTWNAME% in your message format you will get it.
