Menu and slider questions

  • Thank you for the theme. I’ve been happy with it, although I updated Aldehyde a week or so ago and it blew out my slider completely and did weird things to the top menu. Not a big deal. I’m just getting back around to fixing things today.

    Two questions:

      In an earlier support post, you said you would add slider timing to the next version of Aldehyde. I thought that feature used to exist, but I’ll wait for the next update. However, I also thought there was a option to change the appearance of the transition between slides. Am I imagining that? Or does that still exist and I can’t find it?

      Forgive me, but I can’t figure out how to prevent my “Main Menu” from appearing in both the position to the right of my site name AND the very top of the page.

  • I have the exact same problem with the menu showing up in both top-area and in the header. And the drop-down does not work.

    I love this theme, its exactly what I have been looking for. Please solve the problems =)

    the way i solved the menu problems was by:

    making a menu where i did not add anything to do. (I called it “empty menu”).
    i made that menu the “top menu” in the “customize area”.
    that got rid of the menu being in the very top.

    How were you able to re-size the slider on the front page?
    I am having trouble (and so are other people who have posted in this support form) re-sizing the height of the pictures. They appear too tall and you have to scroll down to see the rest of the site.

    To be honest, I don’t remember ever re-sizing it. I think I just used what I got out of the box for that slider. I know I just sized the photos to be extreme horizontals, but I don’t remember now where I got the dimensions. I’m sorry I’m not much help.
