  • I have the same problem since the last update with WP 4.4.
    The sub-menu disappears when the shortcode of a table is added on the home-page. On the other pages, the phenomene does not exist. Why specificly on the home-page?

    Same problem here. Any page with a TablePress table on it using Data Tables.

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.
    Also, sorry for the long wait for a reply. As a I was on a long vacation without internet access the last couple weeks, I could not reply earlier.

    This most likely is caused by something on your sites loading an outdated version of jQuery.

    As a first step, please check if https://tablepress.org/faq/js-functions-not-working/ reveals something. If not, can you please post a link to the page with the table where this problem happens, so that I can take a direct look? Thanks!

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hi Tobias,

    Thank you for your response and your plug-in! Hopefully, your holiday was nice and relaxing.

    Is it possible to send you the link privately? The following error showed up from the Firebug Console:

    TypeError:jQuery(…).tooltip is not a function
    jQuery (“(rel=tooltip’)”).tooltip();

    Kindly,

    JaneeS
