Menu buttons move when clicked

  • I have two websites using WordPress 5.7.1 and the SportsMag theme, version 1.2.1. Both exhibit this unwanted behaviour. On the SiteNav menu, when a user clicks on one of the sub menu items, it moves down and doesn’t load the desired page. The user then has to click on the sub menu item again to open the desired page. This may have happened with an update some time ago, but don’t know which.

    Not sure whether this is an issue with the Theme or WordPress. Any help appreciated to resolve this.

    I have just tested the site with WordPress version 5.7 and the problem does not exist, so this was introduced with version 5.7.1

    This could be as result of WordPress 5.7.1 update as mentioned earlier.

    You might want to check if your theme has a new update or the plugin that controls the siteNav as this would resolve the issue. I’ll recommend you contact the theme/plugin developers for further assistance.
