Menu & buttons with chinese characters

Hi guys
I installed the free version and now also the pro version, but in my german version i always get the chinese characters in the backend and frontend.
what is wrong here and where can I fix it? I have already taken standard measures (cache, cookie, ezc.) and I have also been working in IT for many years ??
