Menu construction with Flatio

Hello. Is there a help source for the Flatio theme? I’m not sure I understand the menu hierachy… The same menu bar comes up on top of the screen regardless of which of the four buttons I click on. What I really need is a different menu bar associated with each of my four main topics… Is this possible?
Sorry if this question has already been asked – I did a search but didd anything directly linked to this idea.
