Menu disappeared after Falang is activated

Hi, i don’t know this Blocksy Theme can you make me some screencapture of the menu configuration and falang translation of menu ? what language do you use ? It’s work for the default language ? do you use slug for default language ?

Blocksy is a popular theme .

but i deactivated Falang for a second and reactivated it again and resaved permalinks and now menu appears again although i did no changes. Hopefully it is solved…

but i recorded several error messages in debug.log :

I’m trying it actually , i don’t see this error , it’s seem a problem in the language system, did you install another multilanguage plugin on this site before ?

yes gave polylang a try before but uninstalled it as described in documentation with constant variable in wp-config

This is probably why you have this problem , i have already see this problem, Polylang seem not not remove completly the languages in the term tables and this make problem with falang after. Falang use the same system for language definition

okay. the site is almost empty. so i will try to reset the database and install falang again.

and i finally found out what causes menu disappearing. its your language switcher for some reason?!

the language switcher is like you in the menu but i don’t see this problem

yes its somehow strange. when i filter the items through “wp_nav_menu_objects” the array is completely empty. if i remove the language switcher, menu reappears. i use php 8 for your information

Perhaps you need to have a look with a clean site , it’ seem there are problem with old polylang entries in database.
